As the Manager, Business Development, you are high energy with great tech skills, an understanding of business, passion for marketing and the ability to interface with every level of an organization with confidence. You are familiar with how agencies, client businesses and how new business development works. You are organized, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and intuitively curious about business in general and marketing specifically.
Work on the fast-moving new business and marketing team to manage a structured set of responsibilities including:
New business pitches
Project management for pitches
New business reporting
Updating the pitch database
Management of the new business/talent creds database
Updating talent bios, headshots and job descriptions for the purposes of new business
Updating consultant sites
Interacting with agency partners and consultants
Keeping the new business case study database and assets current
Organic asset management
New business and marketing budget management
Social media calendar management for Organic
Public relations agency oversight
Meeting management for the team
Conference call and regular meeting set up
Presentation preparation, QA and
Management of new business Microsoft Teams activities
Attend meetings on behalf of the new business and marketing team
Management of opportunistic new business tasks including:
Work closely with the creative team to develop pitch sites, demos of Organic work product and marketing materials for pitch enhancement
Travel plans, logistics for meetings and client presentations
Management requests for Organic branded materials
5+ years’ experience in an ad agency.
Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, keynote, photoshop, ID, Adobe applications and project management tools.
Established track record of successfully coordinating new business initiatives.
Proven ability to express self clearly and organize ideas well.
Capable of presenting ideas/new opinions with confidence.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly as business factors shift.
Ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client opportunities.
Has a passion for doing great work.
