About the Role

Orchard is seeking a Sales & Brokerage Training Manager to join our Training team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team in a company that is transforming the way customers buy and sell their homes. The right candidate will have an understanding of the real estate industry, experience training agents on sales strategy and how to win the business, and have market expertise in each real estate market in which Orchard operates. This candidate should also display strong leadership, organization, flexibility, and time management skills with the right attitude to build a culture conducive to engaging adult learners. As the Sales & Brokerage Training Manager you will play a key role in developing content and leading large training classes for both our Onboarding and Ongoing Education programs.

This is a full time, salaried role that will report into the Senior Manager of Training and will be based in any of the existing Orchard Markets.

What You'll Do Here: 

  • Help drive success of Orchard agents by training agents on real estate sales best practices and new initiatives, tools, and processes
  • Work alongside Training, Sales and Brokerage Leadership & our Operations team to build, update, and execute Sales & Brokerage training materials
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and develop new initiative training materials
  • Create new and modify existing self-directed courses that are clear, concise, professional and digestible 
  • Work at a fast pace to provide ongoing support to the Training and Operations teams
  • Create a culture of feedback, inclusion, and openness for our agents

We’d Love to Hear From You if You:

  • Have been a real estate agent for 3+ years (with 10+ past transactions) with expert knowledge in home buying and selling
  • Have 3-5+ years of sales training experience 
  • Have experience teaching adult learners and can patiently explain new technology
  • Can run multiple initiatives successfully at the same time
  • Have strong time management skills to accommodate the vast needs of our growing agent team and company goals
  • Are adaptable and able to keep up in a fast changing environment
  • Are highly organized with process orientation, able to work in a fast paced environment, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Have strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Have strong drive for results
  • Are comfortable speaking in front of groups, including senior leadership and large training classes
  • Excel at cross-functional teamwork & communication
