Orange Silicon Valley is seeking a dynamic, innovation-focused VP of Marketing and Communications, to set the direction and manage the execution of marketing programs and initiatives. In this role, you will play a central role in realizing the company’s marketing strategy, vision and roadmap. You will regularly collaborate with global communications and marketing teams to achieve local brand awareness, corporate messaging, community engagement, as well as content and events that amplify and showcase the organization’s capabilities. 

As the head of Marketing and Communications you will: 

Work closely with the rest of the executive leadership to develop brand, product, and corporate messaging. Be responsible for our overarching company narratives, digital media presence and engagement within the Silicon Valley and U.S. innovation ecosystems. Drive email-marketing campaigns for nurture, engagement, lead generation, and operations. Ghostwrite for CEO, and executive team. Initiate, own, and produce website redesigns and rewrites. Manage press, media, and public relations. Conceptualize, develop, and amplify industry white papers and reports, including case studies, infographics, and articles for trade publications and company blogs. Manage and oversee product marketing, content marketing, corporate communications, and media & analyst relations.

Responsibilities:  

  • Define a local editorial, communications, and marketing plan that supports the organization’s dynamic initiatives and programs, and aligns Orange Silicon Valley with Orange Group’s 2025 strategic plan 
  • Oversee Marketing vision, budget, programs, content, messaging, playbooks, conferences, website, positioning, live events, and tools to inspire and advise a global audience 
  • Lead, coach and inspire the marketing team to achieve/exceed their individual performance and professional development goals
  • Develop the internal and external voice to communicate the value proposal of OSV, and elevate the subject matter expertise of the team 
  • Evaluate Marketing trends and technological developments, keeping OSV at the forefront of industry best practices, while anticipating HQ’s current and future innovation strategy 
  • Ghostwrite for the CEO and executive team and manage press, media, and public relations 

Requirements: 

  • 6+ years of leadership experience in marketing and communications across multiple channels
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar required
  • Proven track record of producing impactful content in print, digital, video, and experiential formats
  • Hands-on experience managing and measuring integrated digital marketing campaigns, both for brand awareness and lead generation
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate trends and strategic industry insights to Executive audiences
  • Solid reputation for building meaningful business relationships across a global organization, being persuasive and effective even where no direct authority or reporting relationship exists
  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing best practices related to: CRM, CMS, social media, web and email marketing, and video production
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills, including fluency in English
  • Exceptional attention to detail with superior time and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous journalism or copywriting experience 
  • Brand management experience at an agency or corporate marketing organization
  • Demonstrated track record in live event production and conference management
  • French language proficiency is a plus, but not required
