Help us grow our Website, SEO, ASO, and online reputation programs as a member of Oportun’s Growth Marketing Team. With 4 million annual visitors, we are diving into personalization & optimization, and creating the perfect website experience. In this role, you’ll develop a data-driven understanding of website performance and how to translate user behavior into improved user experiences.

You’ll also develop knowledge around SEO strategies, along with KPIs and performance evaluations.

We are looking for someone with analytics skills who will configure website tests, conduct analysis, create dashboards, and read the stories that our website and SEO data tell. The ideal candidate will understand statistical modeling techniques, have a natural curiosity for digging deeper, a desire to find creative solutions, and strong program organizational skills.

This role will report to the Growth Director managing website and search. You’ll work closely with team members from Growth Analytics, Marketing Technology, Web Dev, and Product Marketing.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead website and SEO testing, optimizations, and insights to drive a data-driven improvements
  • Configure website tests using Wordpress and Amplitude
  • Conduct analysis of website and AB tests, assist in determining actionable insights and bringing them to life
  • Build website and SEO dashboards in Domo
  • Create testing agenda and manage delivery schedules using Jira and Coda 
  • Carry testing content through reviews process
  • Generate research deliverables competitor audits to keep our knowledge fresh and inspire our learning agenda

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Language skills: SQL, R, and Python
  • Deep understanding of methodologies: A/B testing, multivariate testing, and data engineering
  • Experience with statistical modeling techniques: linear regression. logistic regression, cluster analysis) and experience with real-world applications
  • History using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Birst or Power BI
  • Quick learner, lots of curiosity
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative, and manage tasks and deadlines for both yourself and people you collaborate with, with strong follow up skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and / or alone, and in a remote setting over Zoom
  • Can interact effectively with people across many levels and teams
  • English fluency required
