POSITION OVERVIEW

 
The Enterprise Applications Sr. SeviceNow Developer will have a broad IT background who is detail-oriented but can also see the "big picture" from an enterprise and IT architecture standpoint. This candidate will be responsible for the configuration, integration and implementation of ServiceNow. Providing scripting and developing complex workflows in the ServiceNow Platform as well as developing integrations using Snaplogic Enterprise Service Bus as enterprise integration solution. This role will mentor junior level developers and provide expertise to the team as well as helping the architect design and build the systems. Experience with ServiceNow Customer Service Management is a must and experience with other customer service management tools like Zendesk preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding IT and business requirements with ability to develop, test, deploy improvements, and update workflows within ServiceNow, Snaplogic, and other enterprise applications
  • Lead the technology team in defining quality test cases and test scenarios
  • Lead the technology team for performing daily administration, issue resolution, and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow platform, Snaplogic, and other enterprise applications
  • Working with end users on reporting and training in ServiceNow and Snaplogic
  • Producing reports and dashboards based on defined measures, metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Working with the business to help them understand their requirements and be responsible for the end product being delivered.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and efficiently work several projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace & stressful environment.
  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field/equivalent experience
  • 7+ years working in a similar function or role
  • 4+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow administrator and/or developer required
  • 2+ years’ experience developing / supporting ServiceNow Customer Service Management module
  • 2+ years’ experience in Enterprise Service Bus development, Snaplogic preferred
  • Experience implementing, and/or upgrading ServiceNow or Snaplogic (or similar)
  • Understanding of implementation process including setup, configuration and customization of ServiceNow.
  • Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
  • Ability to work within a project team with diverse technical skill sets

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ServiceNow ITOM (Discovery, Event, Orchestration)
  • Experience with Snaplogic Workflows and Plugins or equivalent ESB experience (Boomi, Mulesoft, LogicApps, etc.)
  • Experience deploying/administering ITSM technologies and best practices
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 2011 Foundation or higher certification preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certification highly preferred.
  • ZenDesk CSM experience or certifications
