POSITION SUMARY

The GSOC Supervisor position is a role within the Security Global Ops team that involves leading and coordinating the activities and shifts of the corresponding GSOC team as the GSOC operates 24/7. The GSOC Supervisor must coordinate and notify Security leadership of the risks found. The GSOC Supervisor must coordinate the correct work of the GSOC team to respond to routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms, CCTV and other alert platforms. The position requires evaluating global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalating accordingly. The GSOC Supervisor will also lead employee business trips and notify security management of potential risks or alerts. Additionally, they are responsible for monitoring and communicating situational awareness information and intelligence alerts, as well as working with security leadership on documenting incidents and reviewing and downloading CCTV footage. Other responsibilities include receiving and acting on all service requests via phone, email, ticketing system, and initiating incident reports or work orders for security systems when necessary. This position is essential to the security of the organization and performs other duties as assigned by management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and lead the GSOC Sr. Analyst team on duty protecting and safeguarding the company's assets.
  • Supervise all daily GSOC Sr. Analyst and GSOC operator functions related to the Security team.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance with clear expectations against objectives.
  • Provide training and feedback to team members.
  • Work with other supervisors to develop and implement strategies leading to KPIs around the security team's objectives.
  • Generate a positive work environment in the team.
  • Prepare management reports and present results and analysis.
  • Provide updates on shift changes to other supervisors.
  • Plan and manage PTO and leave time of the GSOC Operators & GSOC Sr. Analyst to assure continuity in the 24/7 GSOC coverage.
  • Ability to perform GSOC Sr. Analyst and GSOC Operator activities whenever required by the daily operation (emergencies, lunchtime, etc.)
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned by management

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years experience in intelligence analysis, global security, security operations management, or similar position
  • Team leader
  • College degree or equivalent experience and professional certifications preferred (APP,PSP, CPP, CTM)
  • Foreign travel experience and knowledge preferred
  • Experience with business continuity planning
  • Strong knowledge of intelligence collection and analysis
  • Expert proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify quantify and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with internal team members at all levels and across functional and organizational boundaries
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills
  • Comfortable working against deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
