POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Title Processing agent, you will review and decision vehicle documentation for approval of secured personal loans with processing of vehicle titles. Check for accuracy to ensure the provided documentation meets all Oportun requirements. Communicates with members, co-workers, and business partners to resolve issues and ensure processing occurs in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Title Processing: Efficiently analyze and identify vehicle title/ownership documents, process titles in line with state guidelines, and address any discrepancies or issues with paperwork in a timely manner.
- Handle administrative office functions such as data entry, title tracking, word processing, filing, copying, scanning, shredding, etc.
- Processing high volumes of documentation daily
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable Title regulations and Oportun Policies
- Check for accuracy of the documents provided to ensure Oportun can perfect the lien
- Works closely with others to ensure follow up is completed
REQUIREMENTS
- 1 to 2 years of Customer Service Experience
- 1 to 2 years of Auto Finance Experience
- 1 to 2 years of Title Processing Experience
- Requires general knowledge of captive automobile finance sufficient to handle sophisticated problems related to Titles
- Good oral/written communication
- Bi-lingual (Preferred)
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft 365
Physical Requirements
- Read rapidly from both paper and a computer terminal
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as: lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing, and reading
- Ability to lift and transport up to 30 lbs. and push carts
The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $20.00 (an hour)
