In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compensation plans are effectively supporting the various business goals and strategies
  • Triage questions and issues reported by Sales teams regarding their commissions
  • Coordinate and partner with various teams such as HR and Finance leadership to ensure compensation data is provided in a timely manner
  • Partner cross functionally to improve upon commissions and adapt to the needs of our growing Sales organization
  • Develop and implement commission structures and ensure successful launches and enhancements
  • Drive process and system improvements to drive efficiency and to reduce risks
  • Provide ongoing support of commissions system
  • Serve as subject matter expert in all things commissions
  • Prepare & present data analysis for audiences ranging from field sales members to senior leadership
  • Call out abnormalities and trends in data to identify business opportunities and standard methodologies
  • Make data-driven decisions: translate data sets into impactful insights, recommendations, dashboards, and reports for the larger sales and operations teams
  • Communicate upwards and to peers on project strategy, status, expectations, deadlines, and results
  • Salesforce.com (SFDC) data stewardship and improvement; dashboard and report creation and upkeep; end user support and documentation management
  • Ensure compensation data is complete and accurate
  • Develop and continuously update commission plans documentation
  • Ad Hoc projects on pay structure and metrics as needed

Please apply if:

  • Strong experience with commissions related software for sales teams
  • Experience in analyzing sales commissions processes and finding automation opportunities
  • Able to speak the SFDC language in order to make recommendations for processes and communicate reliably with our Business Optimization and Product teams
  • Experience with external Salesforce add-ons involving forecasting and tracking a plus
  • Advanced MS Excel (can perform complex functions) and modeling skills
  • Professional experience in data analysis and ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Operational experience in measuring and improving efficiency, utilization, scale initiatives etc.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities, problem solving, negotiation, task and project coordination, and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure and against ambitious deadlines, with minimal oversight from management
  • Excellent business liaison skills. Ability to digest system complexity and articulate to business users in concise and simple language
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, sales support, or finance role using data to make recommendations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields preferred
