The Application Integration Analyst sits within the Merchant Integrations team, and is a critical part of our onboarding processes at OpenStore. Our sellers come to us with very different Shopify themes and apps installed, any number of tools across marketing and customer support, as well as custom code and configurations. We’re seeking a strong technical generalist who has familiarity with eCommerce tools and systems (or is excited to ramp quickly!), and isn’t afraid to edit some code once in a while, to help us onboard and standardize these partners. You’ll work lock-step with our Product and Operations teams as well as we continue to build our out platform.


  • You have strong technical aptitude and can apply that through a business lens as we configure tooling and build out processes
  • You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments. At this stage we’re still learning. You will iterate with the rest of the team on the different integration playbooks to build an increasingly low-risk and efficient process.
  • You love to learn new things. New tools, new apps, new systems, and then figuring out how to make them play nicely with each other
  • You’re not afraid to dive into the unknown. Maybe we need a header removed across multiple sites, maybe a custom app is broken. You’ll dive in with the team and troubleshoot to figure out solutions.
  • You are detail oriented and love getting into the nitty gritty. Task trackers, kanban boards, SOPs, and checklists are your friend
  • You take pride in your strong sense of ownership. Your ability to execute and eliminate blockers helps you and the entire company move fast with confidence. You know when to raise your hand and ask for help.



  • You’ll shape our app and platform onboarding strategy. We’ll build the playbook to standardize our apps and systems, and then execute it across all our stores
  • You’ll execute when it matters. When there are timelines or cutovers, we can count on you to execute on processes and setup to make sure that our platform is healthy and dynamic.
  • You’ll evaluate vendors and build strong vendor relationships. By building trust, good processes, and analyses, you’ll effectively performance manage existing vendor relationships.
  • You’ll work efficiently with tools and continuously seek improvements. You’ll use existing tech tools to do your job efficiently and collaborate with the tech product team to identify new opportunities where technology can unlock scale or efficiency.
  • You’ll collaborate and contribute to many areas. You’ll collaborate across many teams including merchant integrations, procurement, marketing, category managers, finance, and product.


  • 2-4 years of technology consulting or related experience
  • Experience developing complex, repeatable processes for unique use-cases
  • Experience with corporate data migrations, especially email and cloud asset migration
