Mission:
Join Opaque as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in AI, where you will lead our cutting-edge initiatives in Generative AI. In this role, you will keep up with the latest AI developments, innovate on them to develop new solutions, and then bring those solutions into our products. Most importantly, you will champion our customers and design partners: our goal is to make our customers successful by enabling them to protect their sensitive data in AI deployments, and leverage Generative AI and LLMs in a private and trusted way.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build the data platform, connectors, and tools for Confidential AI
  • Contribute to the development of the Opaque LLM Gateway
  • Lead AI knowledge sharing sessions to elevate our team's expertise and integrate state-of-the-art AI practices into our projects.
  • Manage project scopes, create detailed timelines, and ensure the timely delivery of AI functionalities.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to align AI initiatives with company-wide goals and improve product integration.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven track record of rapid prototyping and innovation in AI projects.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models and their ecosystems, including TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and system design with a focus on security and scalability.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, and developing/maintaining enterprise-level software.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them effectively.
  • Nice to have: previous experience in stakeholder engagement and handling external partnerships.
