Mission:

Join Opaque as a Software Engineer in Infrastructure, where you'll leverage your cloud infrastructure expertise to build, maintain, and secure our Confidential AI platform. You'll develop robust CI/CD workflows, manage incidents, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality solutions. With your hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and major cloud providers, you'll play a key role in enhancing our infrastructure and providing the best experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated build, test, and other environments using Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
  • Develop and extend a robust and comprehensive CI/CD workflow
  • Understand customer requirements and convert them into project deliverables
  • Define production SLAs and make sure they are met
  • Manage and troubleshoot incidents, and analyze root causes
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures for continuous vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • Support SOC, HIPPA, and other compliance, and assist with customer security questionnaires.
  • Establish meticulous engineering processes to enforce high quality engineering

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, or related role
  • Effective leadership, organization, and cross-functional communication
  • Experience building infrastructure and tooling from the ground up.
  • Knowledge about hosting multi-tenant solutions with hybrid deployment models
  • Hands-on production experience working with:
    • Kubernetes
    • Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
    • At least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP)
    • A scripting language such as Python or Bash
