🙌 The Role & Team
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in developing and optimising the product lifecycle for the pre-funding space – covering the moment customers first make contact to when they take out finance with us.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Commercial and Marketing and will be a key part of enhancing our digital proposition for our intermediaries. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, business acumen, and an understanding of financial products, workflows, and market needs.
What you’ll be getting up to
- Define and deliver the vision and strategy for pre-funding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on business goals, intermediary needs, and long-term objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer pain points related to pre-funding. Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for the pre-funding area. Prioritise features and initiatives based on impact, business goals, and feasibility.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ensure the timely delivery of new features, product iterations, and improvements in pre-funding systems and processes.
- Engage with legal and compliance teams to ensure our change meet regulatory requirements.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, track product performance, and optimise product features based on data-driven insights.
- Provide line management, guidance and mentorship to junior product managers, sharing best practices and contributing to team development.
You’ll be a great fit if:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on financial products, funding processes, or similar areas. Prior experience in pre-funding or financial services is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, workflows, and APIs. Experience working in Agile development environments. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and A/B testing platforms.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver successful product outcomes. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
