We’re hiring an IT Support Specialist to oversee IT for our Manchester office, working closely with our central IT team in Oxford to provide the best possible service for our employees.
About the Role
We are a Fintech company in based in Oxford with offices in London, Cardiff, Manchester, India and Ukraine. You'll be our primary point of contact in our Manchester office where you’ll help onboard new starters, maintain and repair hardware such as laptop and printers and troubleshoot network issues. You’ll also be getting hands on with tools such as Jira, Slack and Office365 to resolve employee tickets, as well as supporting our wider IT team with project work and escalating trickier tickets as needed.
As we're growing so quickly and taking on new employees at a fast pace, the IT team are always having to onboard new users to Oodle, so you'll be the kind of person that enjoys getting stuck in and working to deadlines. You'll help set up laptops and get people the system access they need.
Our employees are your customers, so you'll have a positive and friendly approach to your work and be happy communicating with people at all levels of the business.
As you will be the sole IT team member in our Manchester office, you will be highly dependable and able to autonomously manage your workload. You’ll have worked in a role supporting Microsoft software (Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Server etc.) and experience covering end user support, hardware and networking is needed. It would also be preferred if you have experience working in an external site reporting back to HQ, though not essential. Above all else, we're looking for someone who wants to develop their career in IT and get stuck in to helping support our users as we continue to scale our business.
