Social media is central to the On brand, key to connecting with our communities in a genuine way to communicate our brand mission of  ‘Igniting the human spirit through movement’. 2024 will be On’s biggest year yet, and we’re looking for an experienced Social Media Lead to manage and oversee our approach to Publishing & Operations. Reporting to the Global Head of Social Media, and working in partnership with the Social Media Content Lead, you’ll be an integral member of the global social media team.

 

Your mission:

  • Leading on publishing strategy and day to day social media management of our channels working in partnership with a team of specialists
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Social Content Lead to effectively rollout campaigns, events and reactive storytelling across our social channels
  • Fostering closers ties with our digital teams, bring organic social (and the content we create) closer to DTC and Paid Social and expanding our ways of working
  • Evolving how we work with our key partners in the social engagement team who are on the front line of community management
  • Develop productive working relationships with our regional social media and marketing teams in APAC, the Americas and EMEA. Regularly updating and discussing global and regional publishing plans and opportunities. You’ll be responsible for developing processes to ensure easy flow of information and content to be syndicated
  • Grow how we work with our key platform partners (TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, Strava and more) to unlock the potential of our social channels

 

Your experience:

  • 7+ years working in a senior social media publishing and/or community management roles
  • Proactive in developing cross-functional relationships including the wider global social media and social engagement teams, regions, project management, copy and marketing leads
  • Previous experience working in sportswear or similar industries either client-side or agency is preferred and be excited by the communities we serve
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms is a must - you’ll know all platform features and functionality inside and out and be excited by the challenge of using platforms to their full potential
  • Strong communication and writing skills - being comfortable in publishing tools, business suites and decks
  • Experience using data and analytics to help inform briefs and sharing back to teammates and wider stakeholders - seizing reactive opportunities
  • Be comfortable collaborating and working autonomously to deliver against our social KPIs
  • Confident presenter and collaborator navigating different teams across time zones
