As the Lead for Warehouse Operational Excellence, you will oversee the development and implementation of operational standard work to meet daily performance expectations across the Americas Network. This role involves identifying, scoping, and executing strategic opportunities to enhance customer experience through all fulfillment channels. You will work cross-functionally with Americas Operations and Global Supply Chain teams, managing standard work and continuous improvement initiatives as we scale our North American business. The ideal candidate will ensure the regional strategy roadmap aligns with global projects, leading and supporting both local and global initiatives to create a standard operating playbook that maximizes operational efficiency and customer experience.
Assess regional network 3PL partner standards and lead the identification of current best practices as well as opportunities for future improvement.
Ensure internal system and external partner SLAs are aligned to match the obligations of our channel partners.
Manage complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality results that meet business goals.
Partner with stakeholders regionally and globally to advocate for and secure resources, scope efforts, and set milestones to drive successful program delivery.
Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to internal and external teams including executive leadership, influencing decisions without direct authority.
Lead creation of organizational documents (e.g., project/program requirements and roadmap, status, tenets, business reviews and operational planning) that can be leveraged cross-functionally and across partners to define operational expectations.
Accelerate progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately.
Solve ambiguous problems through the application of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies such as value stream mapping, kaizen, process mapping, data collection, waste analysis, inferential statistics, hypothesis testing (Minitab) and design of experiments.
Your Story:
5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics and continuous improvement work
5+ years negotiating with third party service providers
5+ years of experience in extracting data, analyzing results, and developing recommendations to senior leadership
5+ years of experience working with various cross functional teams locally and globally
Project management experience in the development, implementation, and management of various size projects
Ability to work independently, seeking guidance as needed, to successfully manage difficult projects across teams
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify root causes, mitigate risks, and drive timely decisions
Able to travel 20-60% of the time, depending on project need
