The Challenge
OneTrust, the leading Trust Intelligence provider, is seeking an exceptional senior manager of Product Marketing Management (PMM) to support the growth of its platform. In this pivotal role of Director, Platform Product Marketing, you will lead the strategic marketing efforts for our platform services that provide a common infrastructure for OneTrust products. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping product development, creating compelling market positioning, and driving successful go-to-market strategies. This role demands a blend of technical understanding, market insight, and effective communication skills with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Your Mission
- Strategic Roadmap Influence: Work with product management and engineering teams to align the product roadmap with market needs, customer feedback, and emerging trends in consent and preference management for both first-party and third-party collected data.
- Comprehensive Messaging & Positioning: Develop and refine messaging and positioning frameworks, ensuring they articulate our products' unique benefits and differentiators in a crowded market.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the end-to-end GTM process, including planning, executing, and measuring launch activities. Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure successful product launches.
- Sales Empowerment: Create compelling sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, product datasheets, case studies, and training resources. Facilitate regular training sessions for the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the latest product knowledge and sales tactics.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform product and marketing strategies. Regularly update the team on key industry trends, competitor moves, and market opportunities.
- Customer Advocacy: Foster strong relationships with key customers to gather insights, develop case studies, and create advocates in the industry.
You Are
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management and Product Marketing.
- Experience with stakeholder management, influencing and managing multiple stakeholders internally (executive, sales, marketing, engineering, support) and externally (analyst, customers, partners).
- Demonstrated customer-centric mindset with deep empathy for users, translating their needs into product features.
- Experience marketing to technical personas including developers and architects.
- Proficient in data-driven decision-making and analytics.
- Strong technical competence with a deep understanding of enterprise SaaS products, enterprise application architectures, and product design.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
- Understanding current trends and best practices in product management, software development, and product design.
- It's essential to have a growth mindset focused on learning and improving.
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
