The Challenge
Due to increased customer demand for the OneTrust platform, we are hiring a Corporate Attorney who will support corporate transactions and M&A activities. This person will also have the opportunity to be involved in strategic legal projects.
Your Mission
- Coordinate corporate transactions and global M&A activities with internal and external stakeholders, from letter of intent and due diligence through closing and integration
- Provide guidance and practice solutions to optimize complex deal transactions, including deal structure
- Support corporate administration for all OneTrust legal entities globally
- Supporting group restructuring exercises, including the creation and dissolution of legal entities
- Understand key IP, commercial, finance and HR requirements
- Keep up-to-date on applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance
- Assist with legal department projects as assigned
You Are
- An excellent communicator with all levels of an organization, including executive leadership
- An excellent project manager and able to take ownership of stakeholders and solutions
- Assertive and able to negotiate complex legal transactions
- Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Your Experience Includes
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school required
- Member of a State Bar in good standing
- 5+ years of corporate transactional legal experience at a large law firm, including drafting, deal running and diligence
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions
Extra Awesome
- Knowledge of US and/or EU privacy/security laws (including CIPP certification)
- Experience in an in-house software or technology company
