The Challenge

As a member of the HRIS team, this role will collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to turn business initiatives and programs into automation, creating efficiency. This role will focus on maintaining access and permissions to all HR-related systems, including Workday. This includes but is not limited to security maintenance and auditing, as well as access to reporting and dashboards. This role will also focus on system enablement including rolling out new permission groups and training new members of the HR team or executive team on their access to Workday as needed.

Your Mission

  • Scope and test new security group requirements for new team members joining HR and the business, properly onboarding and training them on system functionality
  • Create new security groups (user-based, role-based, job-based, segmented, aggregated, and intersectional)
  • Update domain and business process security policies to manage data privacy against need-to-know and need-to-do requirements
  • Perform audits of security access
  • Implement complex security utilizing custom organizations, domains, and objects
  • Research system security functionality and capabilities when new software releases are introduced
  • Configure and test new security functionality before new release rollouts
  • Enable HR and the business to utilize the tool efficiently for have solid adoption
  • Continually enhance functionality and analytics in the various HR systems

You Are

  • Someone with strong system aptitude, curiosity, and confidence
  • Comfortable being outside their comfort zone and able to research projects from scratch
  • Someone with solid communication skills and the ability to ask the right questions
  • A dedicated tester before moving new functionality to production
  • Self-motivated and efficient

Your Experience Includes

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of experience administering Workday
  • 1-2 years of Workday security experience
  • Strong data analysis, research, and testing skills

Extra Awesome

  • Knowledgeable in developing reports (advanced, matrix, composite, trended) on useful data sources for the intended audience
  • Knowledgeable in calculated fields and conditional rules
  • Able to build dashboards with common prompt sets
