About the Role:

Tennessee Oncology – a wholly physician owned multispecialty group - is recruiting a partner-track BE/BC Radiation Oncologist for our Nashville market due to expansion of our physician-owned centers. Tennessee Oncology is the largest provider of Oncology Services in Tennessee and the Radiation Oncology division services both hospital-based and freestanding sites with a mix of professional service agreements and technical ownership. Partner track physicians undergo a 3-year employment period with a graduated salary increase and benefits and are considered for partnership at the end of their employment period by vote of the membership. There is no buy-in for maturation to partnership and no tiered partnership.

While all jobs in our practice are primarily clinical, the size and scale of our practice provides opportunities for non-clinical work including research, business development, and exposure to Nashville’s oncology startup environment. With almost 30 Radiation Oncologists and 80 Medical Oncologists, the breadth of services offered by Tennessee Oncology is unique in the private practice space, offering standard of care therapies, clinical trials, and access to technology such as Protons, Cellular Therapy, and Radioligand Therapy. The ideal candidate for this position would be clinically focused - a practice builder - with a steadfast commitment to the three A’s of medical practice. An off cycle start date is preferred, but flexible.

About the Practice and their Mission:

Tennessee Oncology is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, compassionate support, and commitment to helping our patients through very difficult times in their lives. The education and experience of our physicians and healthcare team enable us to provide access to high-quality cancer care and the expertise of clinical research for all patients, at convenient locations within their community and close to their homes. The practice offers Hematology/Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care, and Clinical Trials & Research Programs.

Tennessee Oncology is a proud partner of OneOncology. OneOncology is a national partnership of leading independent community oncology practices working together to improve the lives of everyone living with cancer with a physician-led, data-driven, technology-powered, and patient-centric model. Through OneOncology, partner practices have shared technology platforms that foster communication, data sharing, and clinical excellence across the network. OneOncology’s non-exclusive clinical trial site management subsidiary, OneR, delivers complex, multi-center clinical trials to affiliated practices.
