Ideal Candidate:

  • MD degree from an accredited institution
  • AP or AP/CP board eligible or board certified with ABP certification in Hematopathology
  • Recent grads out of fellowship encouraged to apply
  • Molecular experience preferred
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • New York State Licensure/eligibility is required

Salary Transparency:

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Base Salary Range: up to $400,000 annually

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Chief of Laboratory Services
  • Strong hematopathology skills
  • Flow cytometry, lymph node, and bone marrow interpretation
  • Signing out routine cases for flow cytometry, lymph node, and bone marrow cases
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are required due to frequent interaction with physicians, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
