As the Product Designer at OneDegree Hong Kong, your goal is to bring better user experience for our customers a good digital insurance product consumption experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to see both the big picture and be able and willing to execute rapidly; and partner closely with our business and product development teams to design insurance product for the Hong Kong market. Since the requirements and user flow of each insurance product are slightly different, this person should have strong experience across UX, Research and Design and be able to demonstrate Design thinking.

Responsibilities
- Working closely with business stakeholders, product managers and developers to translate user stories/business requirements into digital experiences, and design an innovative, user-friendly platform.
- Being able to articulate the design base on the requirements of various teams.
- Being responsible for providing high-quality deliverables such as user journeys, user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups and prototypes for digital platforms and products.
- Developing pixel-perfect UI and ensuring design consistency between digital platforms.
- Identifying design issues within the development team while tracking and providing solutions to design issues.
- Presenting ideas to stakeholders and making recommendations in accordance with feedback.
Requirements
- Portfolio of UI/UX design or related projects is a must
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer or Hybrid UX/UI Designer
- Proven experience in B2C product design, especially in Web or Web app products
- Knowledge of Design Thinking flows and concept
- Detail-oriented and logical flow
- Expert knowledge of responsive design and Web UI/UX
- Familiarity with design and/or prototyping software, such as Sketch, Figma etc.
- Ability to think independently, make the decision and have good communication throughout
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress design process under minimal supervision
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present work to executives and large groups.
Plus
- Experience in Scrum development process
- Experience in Motion Graphics design
- Experience in working at a startup
- Experience in a user study and data analysis
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, computer science, sociology, anthropology, or a related field
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
Interview Process
- Phone interview
- 1st interview: 1hr meet with Design Manager
- Assignment test -> HR sent
- 2nd interview: 1.5 hrs meet with Co-workers
