This position is based in Shanghai, China and reports to the Engineering Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Lead PCB Layout Engineer with rich experience and knowledge in PWB layout, electrical and mechanical constraints, manufacturability, and safety.
Primary Responsibilities are as below,
1) PWB design to meet schedule and quality requirements of project and product according to the company’s design process.
2) Familiar with all the PWB layout guidelines regarding the company’s power supply products and execute.
3) Be responsible for explaining and provide trainings of Candence tool, PWB guideline and DFM checklist to peer colleagues.
4) Expertise with design software with responsibility of training to electrical engineers.
5) Teamwork and collaboration with strong communication skills to work with global and local team.
6) Work with cross function team to address issues on new product research(Layout portion), design, manufacture issues from prototype build, testing and qualification issues.
Qualifications Required:
1) Major in Electrical engineering technology, background on power supply PCBs is a plus.
2) 10 years' working experience with PCB design including placement, routing and fab/assembly post process(DFM,DFF etc).
3) Knowledge of PCB construction, material and corresponding IPC standard
4) knowledge of EMI compliance, safety rule related to power.
5) Can work under pressure and meet the project schedule, target cost and product performance
6) Familiarity with Cadence tools: Allegro and Concept schematic capture with 10+ experience is a plus, system capture and library tools, Extensive experience with net classes, high voltage safety rules, stackup and layout skills.
7) Good communication skill in both English and Chinese
