JOB SUMMARY: 

Do you have experience marketing SaaS products or mobile apps while focusing on lead funnels that feed into paid accounts? If so, this is the role for you! We’re seeking a data-oriented PPC Specialist to manage all paid traffic, analyze campaign results, develop strategies, run tests, implement optimizations, and provide day-to-day management of multiple online SaaS brands. Channels include paid, display, contextual, retargeting, and social advertising. You’ll spend 80% of your time growing established channels, and 20% focusing on establishing new traffic sources. A deep understanding of the conversion funnel, data analysis, and best practices are required to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze data to create actionable insights
  • Manage all paid advertising while optimizing our PPC presence
  • Perform A/B testing across multiple channels
  • Create, test, and optimize landing pages
  • Find and implement new traffic opportunities in search, organic, social, and display
  • Define budget and CPA thresholds for all campaigns
  • Optimize and create keyword targets, banners, and other ads
  • Develop, manage, and optimize retargeting
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting
  • Work with other members of the team to ensure the paid acquisition strategy complements and amplifies all marketing initiatives

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of experience in:

  • Knowledge and working experience with Google Tag Manager - creating, managing, and troubleshooting conversion tracking from multiple platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook)
  • Data Studio experience - creating and maintaining Data Studio reports, utilizing data from multiple sources
  • Paid channel attribution - understanding how paid channels apply conversion attribution, and different attribution models (last click/data driven)
  • Managing $50k+ monthly budgets
  • Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
  • Retargeting (Google, AdRoll, Criteo, Facebook)
  • Researching Keywords (SEMRush, SpyFu, Moz)
  • Social Advertising (Facebook, Twitter, Quora, Reddit)
  • Running A/B, multivariate tests (Optimizely, Google)
  • Designing Lead Generation Funnels (Leadpages, Unbounce, Optinmonster)
  • Optimizing and Creating Landing Pages

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • History of achieving CPA targets based on customer lifetime value
  • Proven ability to scale paid traffic while maintaining CPA targets
  • Knowledge of how affiliate and paid marketing channels fit together
  • Capacity to find and nurture demographic synergies into paid customers
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on divergent brands and projects
  • Effectively manage an outsourced agency
  • Create clear Excel reports using pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc.
  • Must be a self-starter, willing to take initiative, and drive results
  • Google AdWords/Analytics Certification
  • Wordpress

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree not required in lieu of 5+ years eCommerce experience
  • Google Ads/Analytics Certification Preferred
