About the Role:

Our clients turn to us for superior media strategy, deep insights, and flawless execution of their multi-market media campaigns. We are looking for an Account Executive to work our Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regional media team, helping launch brand and eComm media campaigns for a large FMCG / CPG company.

In addition to learning all about media and how it drives brand growth, consideration, and sales, you will be responsible for working with the Associate Director to ensure everything is in place for a media campaign launch, clients and agency teams have the right communication, and all is going according to plan.

You’ll help on things as small as booking media in our finance system to large projects like rethinking how we organize client communication or further integrate campaigns across channels. No one day looks exactly like the other; some days you’ll be emailing the client with preview URLs for social creative and creating a creative asset tracking document, other days you’ll be in client calls learning about upcoming product launches and a training on how consumer behavior is changing.

Besides all the regular stuff about why working at PHD is amazing, you’ll want this job if you:

  • Enjoy working on world-class, well-known brands
  • Are excited about the opportunity to work on campaigns across many countries
  • Are passionate about media and its rapid evolution (especially in digital!)
  • Want to be based in Central London
  • Are smart and nice

You will:

  • Support and work with the Associate Director to ensure delivery of PHD’s scope of media services for a large FMCG company's brands in EMEA
  • Develop strong working relations with the PHD digital team, day to day clients, agency partners, and media vendors
  • Deliver brilliant account management basics – from finance and reporting to optimising systems and processes
  • Support the AD by delivering clear, articulate status meeting and contact reports
  • Learn how to use PHD information tools and systems (e.g. partner centre/dashboards) to support efficient account team delivery internally and externally
  • Drive media innovation across clients’ portfolio and across markets
  • Test drive AI-powered tools for use in efficient and effective client and campaign management
  • Own your own development – actively seek to learn, and support others to develop too.
  • Develop an understanding of how media and advertising work
  • Understand the role of PHD within the communications process and the value we bring to the client’s business.

We are looking for someone with some experience in media, marketing, and/or client management, who is ready for a bit more autonomy. You'll need to be interested in media and how it influences people’s choices when they're standing at the [physical or digital] shelf about to buy.

About the Agency:

PHD is a growth-focused media agency driven by innovation and creativity.

Founded in London in 1990, we were the first media agency to offer strategic and creative planning at a time when the industry was about buying cheaply and quickly.

Our founders saw a bright future where smart thinking and clever planning could help brands grow faster than their competitors.

Over the many years that have followed, we have continued to build on this defining ethic — with our evolution shaped by a continual investment in thought leadership. And we continue to ensure that our capability and approach evolve in line with changes in media, data, technology, commerce, society, and legislation.

Today, with over 100 offices in 74 countries, we continue to create remarkable campaigns that lead to remarkable growth – using the extending canvas of data and technology.
