About the Role:

You’ll join the Performance team as a Planning Manager, Global on the SAP account, and you’ll use your experience as a digital planning specialist to develop integrated performance approaches.

This will include leveraging Search, Programmatic, Social and Affiliate digital channels to help SAP deliver their brand objectives and ensure the Activation team works effectively & efficiently towards SAP media KPIs and long-term goals.

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of performance media from planning through to reporting. In addition, you will ensure budget optimisation across all media channels and that SAP is developing its digital programs via robust testing.

Your role is to lead performance client relationships and manage various workstreams across media channels, including data-led strategies, communication framework, annual planning, measurement, audience insights and partner negotiations. You will also be responsible for supporting local performance teams and ownership of central activation when required.

You will report to the Planning Director on SAP and work closely with the Activation team and SAP Product lead.

 

About You:

  • You will need to have a solid understanding of the basic principles of all paid digital channels (Display, Search, Social and affiliate).
  • You will need to have an understanding of the Ad-Tech ecosystem with a particular focus on delivery of creative message and tracking via an adserver
  • You will need to have a understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
  • You should be able to sell the teams work, and engage senior clients with great verbal and written presentations.
  • You will have experience planning digital campaigns and an understanding of audience generation/selection (via 3rd parties) or collection (via adserver/pixel/DMP etc)
  • You will have an understanding of the role of publishers and/or technology platforms used across digital media channels
  • You will have an in depth understanding of KPI selection
  • You will have an understanding of bid management platforms and how they can help optimise within channel
  • You will have experience of account management best practice, reporting, insight generation and finance
  • You will have an understanding of brand safety and fraud prevention techniques
  • You will own the media plan for performance channels - challenging the client/client team where required.
  • You will understand your clients’ priorities/challenges and make sure that the work delivered by the team meets their objectives.
  • You will have regular contact with our SAP clients, working with the client teams to manage expectations and ensure SAP performance teams have a full understanding of our performance offering and our insights.
