About the Role:
PHD EMEA, part of Omnicom Media Group, is recruiting for a star Regional Planning Director to join our regional team, and work on one of our newest, biggest & most exciting Tech client’s EMEA brand media campaigns.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative regional team, driving media planning excellence while integrating digital and offline media strategies in alignment with broader marketing goals.

The Regional Planning Director will lead media planning across key European markets, ensuring that strategy, activation, and optimization are seamlessly executed. You will work closely with local teams, and develop outstanding, innovative responses to briefs and regional strategies. You will then brief activation teams, who will develop the tactical media plans (i.e. the Excel/Google Sheets version) and help the plans come to life! This role requires a balance of hands-on media planning expertise, digital fluency, and strategic leadership.
You will be central to conversations with local and regional clients, supporting their ambitions and ensuring best practices in media strategy and execution. Additionally, you will lead the refinement of processes based on market feedback and client needs.
About you:
- Extensive experience in media planning, with expertise in both digital and traditional channels.
- A strong background in agency, client-side, or ad tech environments.
- The ability to plan holistically across multiple markets and media channels.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- A creative mindset, constantly seeking innovative media solutions to drive client success.
- High levels of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital activation platforms (e.g., programmatic, social, search) and their role in integrated media strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
