About the Role:

We’re looking for a Commerce Acceleration Manager to join our Global Commerce Team, embedded within PHD Global Business in London. If you’re passionate about all things eCommerce and have an interest in working with a global leader in the Beer, Wine, and Spirits category, this role is for you.

The ideal candidate will define global e-commerce content principles using test-and-learn methods, AI tools, and data to optimize content across platforms. They will measure content effectiveness, collaborate with global and local teams, and innovate with emerging technologies. The role includes building a global stakeholder community and working with external partners for content creation, testing, and optimization.

This role will report to our Associate Commerce Director and work with a team of commerce experts to deliver the overall mission of creating unparalleled consumer and shopper experiences.

This role is perfect for someone with experience on the brand, agency, or consulting side, across functions such as content development, digital shelf strategy, studying shopper behaviour, and utilizing content effectiveness tools. Ideally, you would have worked within a regional or global team and understand how to operate with numerous stakeholders to deliver an industry-leading D-com content strategy.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Create and define best-in-class global e-commerce content principles through extensive test-and-learn methodologies, leveraging shopper insights, tools, and data
  • Leverage A/B testing, AI tools, and shopper insights to optimize content across product pages, visual assets, videos, A+ content, and brand stores, driving engagement and conversions on e-commerce platforms
  • Focus on extensive measurement and effectiveness to evaluate the impact of deployed content best practices
  • Partner with global and local teams to align content strategies with market-specific needs and global objectives
  • Innovate by integrating emerging tools, technologies, and fresh ideas to enhance content effectiveness and shopper experience
  • Develop a global community of cross-functional stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration, and the dissemination of best practices
  • Liaise with external partners for content creation, testing, and optimization

  • eCommerce experience, including experience with shopper testing methods, content creation, and optimization
  • Enjoys cross-functional collaboration
  • Skilled at integrating new tools and creative ideas to enhance content effectiveness
  • Experience managing external partners for content creation and testing, ensuring quality and timely delivery
