TEAM RESPONSIBLITIES:

The Advanced Analytics team has three core responsibilities focused on delivering incremental client impact now and in the future through effective analytics and applied data science solutions:

  1. Deliver on advanced analytics outcomes to clients across a mix of solutions.
  2. Support capabilities across the region, ensuring that media agencies and local Annalect teams can utilize the capabilities to drive client outcomes.
  3. Develop new proof-of-concept (POC) advanced analytics and data science capabilities to address new client/agency challenges, and scaled global tools from local innovation.

Core capabilities:

  • Advanced Audience Analytics – advanced analysis of various granular data sets to understand consumer behaviour using a variety of future facing data connectivity techniques to ensure that audience insights can then be fed directly into campaign targeting to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Activation Algorithms – algorithms leveraging machine learning to support the optimisation of campaign activation using a variety of contextual factors to automatically improve bidding and targeting selection to drive improved performance.
  • Measurement Suite – a range of increasingly connected measurement solutions (e.g. MMM, Attribution and Incrementality testing) designed to support clients and agency partners make optimised investment decisions from a strategic level all the way through to a more tactical level to deliver incremental ROI.
  • Planning Suite – Omni platform makes a dynamic optimisation tool available for 100+ markets across the world, enabling planners to define budgets based on any client campaign brief. The Annalect team supports advanced use cases, helping clients customise their internal results to the tool, and apply advanced methods to enable better planning.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The role is a rare opportunity to be right at the forefront of media and brand analytics, leveraging a leading global platform and working with a regional Data Science and Advanced Analytics team to aid the biggest marketers with the measurement, optimisation and planning of media.

You will be embedded with a team working directly on one of our global clients, working end to end with marketers, agency partners, data science and analytics teams to ensure that we deliver on client outcomes – from driving sales targets to maximizing on brand equity. As a consultant, your role is to work with client requirements, agencies and the core analyst teams to ensure that we have successful delivery of project objectives. 

This role is perfect for an existing consultant or analyst who wants to pivot from hands-on MMM / econometric modelling to more client facing role, managing the delivery of cutting-edge future-facing marketing measurement to worldwide-known brands to ensure the outcomes of analytics solutions are realized to their full potential.

 You will:

  • Impress clients: Ensure client deliverables are great looking, on track and wherever possible deliver above and beyond.

Be rigorous, making sure both the data and our outputs make sense and are of high quality. This includes data validation, analytic models review, insights decks, and data visualisation (dashboards).

  • Facilitate project management: Be a focal point in the analytics team, ensuring that tasks are clearly shared and communicated, project milestones are tracked, met or escalated.
  • Become an expert of marketing outcomes: as a consultant who needs to ensure client outcomes are met, you will be working with enablement and product team to ensure the right tools and configurations are set for the client’s scope.
  • Learn and share: you will be one face of regional best practices and you will need to be a self-starter who loves to collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of practitioners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage team across milestones for analytic capabilities and ensure that client requirements and modelling processes are documented.
  • Support model delivery by ensuring the quality of the data processing and models produced by senior analysts, lead the production of insights sharing decks, dashboards and optimisations.
  • Know the brands or sectors that you will be working on, ensure that you are up to date with latest trends and work with our partners to bring the best to your clients.
  • Manage deployment of solutions, from tools to BI dashboard, ensuring that analytic deliverables meet the client requirements and project milestones.
  • Become the Omni expert of the team, able to train and facilitate usage of our clients.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Experience delivering and presenting MMM or Marketing Attribution results.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills, written and verbal; client and internal facing.
  • Strong Excel & Powerpoint skills, data visualisation skills (Tableau, PowerBI, ... ) are a plus
  • Experience running media optimisations and delivering story / insights around those recommendations to clients.
  • Interest in finding new solutions and revenue opportunities with our clients
  • Experience in project management frameworks (AGILE) or software (e.g. Hive, Trello, Asana, Wrike, Jira, etc)
  • Minimum three years in a media agency or a marketing analytics team.
  • Experience running code (R, Python) is not required but a bonus.
