YOUR MANDATE

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and lead a team to manage all aspects of a client's budget, from client expenditure approval to budget report compilation and presentation and accounts receivable review. You will be the client's first point of contact for all billing and budget management issues.

 

EVERY DAY YOU WILL :

  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships by serving as their primary point of contact for all matters related to the management of their budgets
  • Coach and train team members involved in the various billing processes to ensure compliance of contractual obligations in the delivery of client services
  • Review all media purchases
  • Track discrepancies
  • Review and analyze accounts payable
  • Be responsible for budget reporting to clients
  • Supervise and manage the workload of budget project coordinators
  • Contribute to the training and development of the budget project management team and participate in the performance review process
  • Be able to perform the duties of a Budget Project Coordinator and provide support as needed.

 

WE WANT TO KNOW YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • A post-secondary degree in accounting or finance
  • At least 3 years of work experience in budget and/or project management, preferably in the media industry
  • Client management and team management experience (a plus)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and a positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, proactivity, attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
  • Rigour, diligence and accountability
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Microsoft suite
  • In-depth knowledge of the MediaOcean system (an asset)
  • Fluency in French and English languages, both spoken and written - As our global network deals daily with national and international clients, a level of English that enables you to understand and express yourself fluently in both French and English is a basic requirement for this role.
