Who We’re Seeking:
Omaze is looking for a Director of Business Intelligence (BI), who will lead an analytics and insights team, focused on developing reporting, driving data analysis, and delivering key insights for our business. The Director of BI will collaborate with key members of the leadership, marketing, sales, operations, product, and engineering teams to ensure that we have the reporting and analytical infrastructure necessary to scale.
Developing & Maintaining Reporting. The Director of BI together with the BI team will drive the creation and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting from multiple sources. The Director and team will also be critical in identifying gaps in performance and delivering data-based solutions.
Ad Hoc Analysis. The Director of BI will be a key business partner to all teams in ad hoc analysis that helps further understand how to drive and optimize our business.
Deliver Key Performance Insights. The Director of BI will partner with leaders of the business to understand and deliver key performance insights that can drive tangible solutions.
Build & Mentor Team. Build and mentor a team of analysts who are quantitatively strong and can provide actionable information. In addition to the BI team, the Director of BI will be a key teacher and mentor to the organization, and help build our analytical DNA.
Drive Data Quality. Partner with data engineering and business to maintain the integrity of our master data and data integrity, to ensure reliable analysis.
Our Ideal Candidate:
10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence including leading analytics teams
Experience in rapidly scaling digital or ecommerce businesses
Has strong data visualization and communication skills
Expert knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and Excel
Good understanding of Data Architecture and databases such as Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
