Who We’re Seeking:
An Email Marketing Manager reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Engagement. You will play a vital role on the Engagement Team by driving revenue growth for email campaigns while keeping our donors engaged through various brand touchpoints. The ideal candidate will be inherently curious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, a best in class email marketer and an excellent communicator.
Own the strategy for email campaign marketing. Develop playbooks for optimization tests, refining segmentation, campaign reporting and editorial initiatives.
Oversee execution of the email program. Be responsible for QAing emails and work with email marketing coordinator to manage email calendar. Support with email production (building segments, editing html, scheduling emails) when needed.
Monitor and report on performance of key email metrics, including creating “bottoms up” forecast of revenue from email campaigns.
Scope technical requirements for advanced ad-hoc email projects and work with internal teams on implementation/execution.
Be a strong mentor and manager for our email marketing coordinator
Stay up to date on best practices and industry trends to constantly find innovative ways to improve the program.
Our Ideal Candidate:
3+ years experience in email marketing. 5+ years of overall marketing preferred.
Full understanding of all components that make up email program (i.e. complex segment logic and pulling data via SQL, mobile responsive html/css, data triggers/automations, tracking/analytics,).
Proven experience driving email growth through strategic thinking, methodical testing and robust reporting to provide key insights and recommendations.
Analytical and data driven. Ability to not only report on data but use it to tell a story and make timely decisions.
Passion for email and the importance the channel plays to the business.
Knowledgeable of ESPs and Analytical Tools. Up to date on industry benchmarks and data compliance (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA).
