THE ROLE:  Sr. eCommerce Manager - Amazon & Pureplay   

OLLY is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented and experienced sales and marketing ecommerce leader to help build and drive 2x share across our pureplay customer platforms, highly focused on Amazon. You will be expected to develop and manage people, budgets and processes for the greater goal of making OLLY the brand of choice online in the vitamins, minerals and supplements category. 

The Sr. eCommerce Manager is responsible for the holistic go to market strategy across Amazon and Pureplay platforms. This role must apply a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities to develop and implement strategic initiatives, in an effort to drive our key online customers. The Sr. eCommerce Manager will drive performance incorporating consumer needs, marketing initiatives, product development roadmaps, customer betas, and supply chain innovation across Pureplay with an emphasis on Amazon. This role will also develop and ensure execution of the annual operating plan that meets or exceeds the net sales and profit strategy for the channel. In addition, they will drive the strategy, across the key 6 ecommerce pillars (Selection, Price, Content, Search, Inventory and Marketing), focusing on long-term, sustainable growth. Constantly curious they are continuously assessing strategies and adjusting as needed to create ”Disruptive" opportunities to step change the business. This role will partner closely with the Insights and Brand teams to identify consumer-centric opportunities that can be addressed through innovation and collaboration across platforms. Similarly, this role will collaborate with the Sales team and respective buyers, to drive internal support and partnerships to develop retailer centric critical capabilities by championing recommendations to ensure internal brand activities are executed to support overall objectives. This role reports to the Sr. eCommerce Director and oversees our Amazon Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive OLLY OKR’s, including revenue, profit, channel inventory and market share . Full P&L management of Amazon, including creating a profitable full-funnel, data-driven marketing strategy
  • Establish a rolling sales plan to meet and exceed overall business and sales goals, leveraging market opportunities, learning from past sales results, taking advantage of all available resources, and reviewing progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Integrate and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to present a single OLLY approach across platforms 
  • Influence and drive strategy of Innovation plan by leveraging data and partnering with cross-functionals on learning plans
  • Plan and ensure execution of impactful product launches in the channel as well as transitions
  • Manage, mentor and develop Amazon team
  • Architect and manage the implementation of promotional plans and strategies within the channel, based on sales and market data analysis
  • Lead JBP negotiations with the vendor manager to ensure both topline and profitability goals are met and Establish effective relationships with key buyers and their management based on category expertise, strategic account planning and sharing brand delight

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 7-10 years of eCommerce account management experience working on high growth brands (including negotiations, sales and marketing) with .com platforms, Amazon account management experience required, preferable across platforms.
  • A GM mindset with a deep knowledge of all things Amazon – including P&L management, full funnel marketing strategies and management of diverse business models (1P, 3P, Hybrid)
  • A strong leader with people management experience (2+ years), with the ability to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit and influence cross-functionally
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of successful outcomes with vendor managers and internal cross-functional partners
  • Prior digital experience leading retail readiness including (SEO, content health scoring, and 3rd party/retailer platforms).
  • Prior experience with digital media platforms such as Amazon Advertising and Walmart Media.
  • Prior experience with data analysis, senior level presentation, ambiguity management, and account/vendor management
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to create cross-functional and leadership buy-in
  • Proven track record of delivering results and building data-driven strategies with consumer-centric vision
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Excel, Visualization Tools (i.e. Power BI) and other MS Office products
