THE ROLE: SENIOR DIGITAL DESIGN MANAGER
The Sr. Digital Design Manager is responsible for leading the strategic execution and evolution of OLLY brand creative across the digital multiverse. You will champion the highest standards of design to ensure maximum impact
working with team members and cross functional partners to create beautiful digital solutions that deliver upon business objectives outlined in project briefs. You live and breathe digital creative and are stoked at the opportunity to drive our brand through a holistic consumer journey across Ecommerce, OLLY.com, paid media, email, in-store digital experiences, social channels and oh-so-much more. This role reports to the Design Director and manages our Digital Designer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, mentor and inspire our Digital Designer
- Expand and execute the vision and strategy of brand creative across digital channels
- Partner with team members to lead the development of stellar digital design execution and content for OLLY.com (including homepages, landing pages and PDPs), email blasts, banner ads, motion graphics and video, organic/paid social assets and other digital assets to support marketing campaigns and activations
- Establish best in class design development processes for digital projects while championing user experience principles
- Collaborate with design team, copywriters and key cross functional partners on all initiatives
- Assist in developing and optimizing omni-channel digital strategies that are insight-driven, actionable, and align with our business objectives
- Lead the selection of direct external creative partners to develop cohesive, integrated campaign content across multiple platforms and assets
- Influence technology decisions in ways that improve the digital experience without compromising performance
- Stay immersed in trends in the competitive landscape, incorporating on-point design principles of color, type, tone, and style into OLLY creative
- Partner with Creative Ops to manage projects and timelines effectively for on-time, on-brief delivery

CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- A strong and diverse portfolio demonstrating deep experience in best-in-class digital design work across all channels (ecommerce, paid media, email, instore digital experiences, social channels, etc.)
- 7-10 years of experience working primarily in digital channels
- Expertise in digital design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Figma, etc).
- Familiarity with web development process including programming languages
- Experience identifying and shepherding efficient and productive digital design approaches that improve the quality of our outputs
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop at least one direct report
- Know how to read a brief and take ideas from concept to execution
- Creative self-starter and ability to work independently with little oversight
- A fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities and has a natural aptitude for collaboration.
- Able to manage their own workload while also taking an active role in managing a designer and that person’s growth.

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA - priority will be given to local candidates; relocation support will be provided for out-of-area candidates.
HOURS: full time, exempt (Hybrid: 2x/week in office)
