About the role:  

The Brand Content Associate Manager  role will be responsible for delivering digital marketing priority programs for Unilever's US Personal Care portfolio, including (but not limited to) brands such as Dove, Degree, Axe, Dove Men+Care, and more.  Your focus will be to support the digital consumer journey with a focus on delivering excellent digital consumer experiences. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a growth mindset, and is capable of driving change in a large organization. This person has a deep passion and intermediate background in digital marketing and content publishing, including content marketing, email marketing, channel strategies, paid media optimization, SEO, on-site search, and analytics. Flexibility and the willingness work at both a strategic and tactical level is required. 
 
The role will report to the eCommerce Category Lead to deliver and maintain the foundational structure of digital marketing operations for assigned brands. As this is a new role, we are looking for a candidate who is able to lead by example, while providing instruction and education to other team members along the way. 

What you will be doing: 

Content Marketing (70%): 

  • Manage the delivery of priority Consumer Experience Excellence KPIs, including: Forecast and derive insights from key metrics to inform marketing strategies related to our key digital marketing programs (e.g., SEO, SEM, etc.), Identifying key metrics across the funnel and deliver actionable insights on marketing performance and contribution to pipeline, Monitor and analyze performance against traffic, engagement, and other tracked KPIs; continually make and implement recommendations for optimization and ongoing growth 
  • Manage SEO and Ecommerce marketing programs, including copy updates, product page updates and content uploads, setting and tracking budget spend priorities and KPIs, measuring overall results against plan, and leveraging data to apply relevant beta tests on an on-going basis 
  • Work with agency partners and internal teams to develop and execute optimized brand content for Brand.com and digital marketing campaigns 
  • Support the creation and execution of content and optimizations for brand sites as it pertains to improving site speed, accessibility, engagement and organic search ranking (SEO) 
  • Identify new optimization, personalization, and growth opportunities proactively to constantly drive improved site performance to appeal to new consumers 

Business Planning (15%): 

  • Research and be a thought leader in best practice on all things Digital Marketing related to driving profitable growth through digital marketing and on-site conversion optimization 

Education and Reporting (15%): 

  • Keep on top of industry best practices and provide POV/white paper on recommended actions 
  • Create a playbook based on best practices, and democratize capabilities across the organization 
  • Present findings to stakeholders to create an atmosphere of transparency and data-driven optimization 

What you need to be great in the role: 

The ideal candidate will help drive results by being optimistic, analytical and entrepreneurial, key skills: 

  • Experience working on a digital brand and developing programs to support full digital consumer journey 
  • 1- 3 years' experience working in A/B testing for website UX, search engine marketing (SEM/SEO), digital media, email marketing, and web marketing 
  • CPG or online Beauty (hair care) experience a bonus 
  • In tune with digital and E-Commerce trends 
  • Strong ability to build solid relationships, both internal and external 
  • Excellent planning, project management and organizational skill 
  • Adobe Cloud experience (e.g., Audience Manager, Experience Manager, Analytics and Experience Platform) 
  • GA 360 Platform (e.g., DV360, Campaign Manager, Analytics, etc.)
