Role: Integrated Designer - FTC (12 months)

Location: Dubai

 

ROLE MISSION

 

Working on-site in partnership with a pharmaceutical client, the (Social Media) Integrated Designer will create powerful and impactful digital & social content for multitude of different projects. They will proactively manage design quality, accuracy and consistency across all creative work and oversee design quality produced in the team, inspiring talent. 

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes idea generation and has a finger on the pulse of the latest and emerging trends and which brands are leading the way in the this region, especially in Social. You will be ambitious and skilled in conceptualisation, design and illustration. You love generating speedy ideas in an agile way and collaborate with your team. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

 

  • Deliver on briefs from concept to completion via working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation and implementation in Classic Arabic, French and English Language. 
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and engaging with the wider digital creative community. 
  • The ability to take complete ownership of projects, including taking brief directly from client, presenting initial designs to client and managing the project until delivery. 
  • Be available to assist the account management, social and wider design team as appropriate. 
  • A strong understanding of conceptualization, graphic design, illustration, typography, motion and ecommerce standards. 
  • Demonstrate strong design thinking for the social advertising, as well as web, digital, display and ecommerce. 
  • Define the look and feel for a variety of digital design projects whilst implementing existing brand guidelines.  
  • Excellent understanding of social media channels, channel design trends and cultural nuances.  
  • With the Social Media Manager develop and inform content calendars that support and extend marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods and channels will work for each sub-section of the target audience. 
  • Work across multiple brands in the Region as well as EMEA.  

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

 

  • Highly creative with the ability to produce design collateral within brand guidelines and agreed timescales. 
  • Excellent digital and social design skills, knowledge and a portfolio that shows digital work and creative output that is on-brand, innovative, challenging and attuned to the cultural interests of the audience. 
  • Excited to build on the existing Video editing and animation skillset. 
  • Experience or interest in helping to mentor and inspire junior members of the team. 
  • Understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures. 
  • A good working knowledge of digital asset creation, but also basic knowledge of web page design, display banner creation, and email design. 
  • An interest in expanding the existing skills, especially in mastering HTML 5, if not already a skillset. 
  • The aptitude to learn new software and programmes efficiently and effectively. 
  • Good knowledge of digital processes to deliver quality solutions. 
  • Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
