Role: Senior Account Manager

Working in partnership with our client, the Senior Account Manager assists the team to create powerful and impactful designs across various platforms. We champion some of the biggest household named brands, ranging from Walkers to Doritos.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Account Director, the Senior Account Manager is part of a team of 18 with varying skill sets. Taking responsibility for a particular scope of work makes this a challenging role that will give the right person true ownership of their day to day and play a key part in the overall development of an extremely fast-paced FMCG environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Understand the importance of brands and working within brand guidelines 
  • A deep understanding of the business; their needs, expectations, and requirements to provide the best service and solution through close partnership with the client 
  • Effective project management through the full life cycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions  
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face to face contact and virtual meetings.
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility
  • Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests.
  • Understand your client’s business and objectives; input strategically to develop creative briefs
  • Support client growth and projects. 
  • Work-flow management – liaising with internal creatives and external suppliers where needed 
  • Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests.
  • Work across FMCG 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Senior Account management experience 5+ years.
  • You're extremely well organised, naturally juggling multiple tasks at any one time.
  • You cope effectively when things are up in the air and carefully manage ever shifting priorities.
  • A problem solver with an understanding of the creative industry.
  • Great attention to detail
  • You genuinely care about people and build collaborative working relationships. 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in working and managing high volume of work
  • Good negotiation skills
  • A real self-starter – Never be sat there twiddling their thumbs
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Hard working but up for a laugh at the same time
  •
