THE ROLE

As a Supply Planning Manager, you'll provide strategic direction and planning regarding the management of finished goods, inventories at manufacturing facilities, copackers and distribution centers. Direct the production planning function for long-term scheduling, inventory planning, capacity planning and all deployment activities. Achieve inventory, service and other S&OP metric improvement. Support innovation projects as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Supply Chain team as a key stakeholder in the MRP and S&OP processes to help meet customer demand while minimizing inventory costs and maximizing service levels.
  • Lead a growing team consisting of supply planners.
  • Develop, manage, validate, and communicate production plans for all items across multiple co-
    manufacturers.
  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple FG warehouses and work closely with customer service 
    to ensure all orders are being fulfilled in full and on-time to meet our Fill Rate % metric.
  • Guide the development and maintenance of ongoing network supply and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the positioning and maintenance of finished goods inventories, in such a way to balance customer fill rate, inventory carrying costs andtransportation.
  •  Establish guidelines to achieve cost-efficient movement of finished goods while maintaining minimum inventory investment.
  • Anticipate and communicate current and potential risks and opportunities to Senior Management so they can make appropriate decisions.
  • Monitor FG inventory and manage aged inventory, SKU rationalized inventory, and restricted stock (hold, damage, etc.) to maximize sales revenue and minimize P&L impact.
  • Lead monthly slow moving and obsolete process to minimize aged inventory with Finance, Sales,
    and Warehouse teams.
  • Be the key stakeholder in owning and maintaining data and reporting within our MRP system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Supply Chain is required
  • 2+ years of team lead experience
  • Experience working in a CPG or beverage manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Expert in inventory management and supply planning
  • Dynamic problem solver
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel is required
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Proven experience in having an influencing and collaborative approach
  • Work cross-functionally between Supply Planning, Finance, Sales, and Commercialization teams
  • Experience using MRP systems a plus
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus

COMPENSATION: $ 115,000- $120,000 base + bonus
