Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies, including transformer models, to combat and prevent fraudulent activities. This role requires an expert in AI-driven fraud detection systems who can effectively integrate complex models into our risk infrastructure to maintain and enhance platform safety & efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the development and deployment of advanced AI models, specifically focusing on transformer models, to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities.
  • Utilize transformer models to analyze sequential data for deeper insights into user behavior patterns that could indicate potential fraud.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to refine data inputs, build and train transformer models to ensure high accuracy and efficiency in fraud detection.
  • Continuously evaluate and iterate on the performance of AI models, incorporating the latest research and techniques in machine learning and AI.
  • Responsible for demonstrating the models to stakeholders in alignment with their expectations
  • Train and mentor team members in AI technologies and methodologies, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation, be responsible for anti-fraud work planning and project management.

What We Look For In You

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology companies, with at least 5 years' experience in fraud detection/prevention, including hands-on experience with AI and machine learning technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing deep learning models and user behavior analytics to detect fraud and security risks.
  • Hands-on experience with feature designing, transformer, and clustering algorithms.
  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering complex systems with a focus on fraud prevention and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in startup environments and fast-paced companies or top-tier technology companies
  • Published research or contributions to the field of cybersecurity, especially in areas relevant to fraud detection and platform security.
