About the Opportunity

As the Global Head of Compliance Operations at OKX, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our day to day compliance operations across all markets. Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead an established team of Compliance Operations professionals, while scaling the global compliance operations capacity for OKX.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of daily compliance operations related to OKX's AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance program.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational processes and systems, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the compliance operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assess market opportunities and resource requirements to scale the compliance operational capacity globally.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management on operational metrics.
 

What We Look For In You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in compliance operations, preferably in the crypto or fintech industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management, with experience leading large operational teams in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices in the cryptocurrency space.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
 

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with compliance vendors, tooling, systems in the crypto industry, e.g., Chainalysis.
  • Experience with establishing operational hubs.
