About The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Audit Manager to join our global Internal Audit team. In this critical role, you will provide expert guidance and support in the field of IT audit and be responsible for coordinating audit activities across global technology domains supporting all regions, including the planning, executing and reporting of independent and objective assessments of our company’s IT governance, infrastructure, databases, operating systems, applications and processes.
 
Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of the IT systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT auditing within the cryptocurrency or financial services industry and possess a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology and its associated risks.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist in the development and execution of risk-based internal audit plans.
  • Assist in developing and executing a comprehensive IT audit strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives and internal audit professional standards.
  • Responsible for leading audit walkthroughs and other meetings with stakeholders to understand databases, operating systems, applications, internal controls, and areas of risk.
  • Responsible for mapping processes and confirming design effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Responsible for reviewing documents, executing testing, documenting workpapers and drafting reports.
  • Prepare or review detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans intended for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor and follow-up with management on the remediation of audit issues and the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Assist in other external assessments /certification audits (e.g. SOC1/2, ISO27001).
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space to ensure audit processes remain relevant and effective.
  • Assist in preparing audit responses to regulators, external agencies or auditors' requests and inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient external audit process.
  • Work together as One-Team with all Internal Audit team members across different regions and portfolios.
  • Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and provide guidance on IT audit related matters.

What We Look For In You

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field; Relevant master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT audit experience, preferably within the cryptocurrency, technology, fintech, or financial services sectors.
  • Working knowledge of cryptocurrency exchange operations, blockchain technology and wallet infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory authorities and their associated requirements on digital asset and cryptocurrency exchange services (e.g., MAS, SFC, ASIC, VARA, MFSA, FCA).
  • In-depth knowledge of IT audit methodology, internal audit standards, risk assessment and internal control frameworks, COBIT, and ISO27001 or NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in audit data analytics tools will be a plus.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior.
