About The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both accounting and blockchain technology, with a proven track record of managing financial transactions related to blockchain networks. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting related to blockchain transactions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee reporting for blockchain industry – including accounting for digital assets, derivatives and structured products.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedure for blockchain transactions.
- Manage and reconcile digital asset transactions and balances between data sources and onchain networks.
- Review/prepare full set of accounts including management accounts reporting independently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data requests and integration into financial systems.
- Oversee the internal control policy/system and provide expertise and guidance on blockchain accounting.
- Liaise with auditors/tax representatives.
- Support ad-hoc projects when necessary.
What We Look For In You
- Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines (ACCA or equivalent preferred).
- Prior relevant audit experience in the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft excel.
- Detail and flexible-minded, hands-on and able to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice-To-Haves
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions is an advantage.
- Experience in accounting system implementation/integration is preferred.
- Experience in MNC is an advantage.
- Experience in Oracle is an advantage.
- Good command in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is a plus.
