About The Team

The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations.
Our Compliance Advisory team, in particular, is responsible for building Compliance policies, programs and frameworks for the company’s diverse and exciting products in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
 

About The Opportunity

This role will be part of the Compliance Conduct and Investigations Team, covering Anti-Bribery and Corruption (“ABC”) Program, Whistleblowing Program and Compliance Conduct related investigations. The role will require partnering closely with other Compliance Teams, Legal, Finance, Human Resources and other relevant business units. This role will develop and maintain a strong and efficient controls environment in order to comply with all applicable sanctions laws, regulations, and guidance for OKX's global presence.
 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist the group leader to develop and manage the global Compliance Conduct framework, including but not limited to strategy, roadmap, policies, procedures, and training elements, in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with frontline business units on conduct related risks and provide advice on business practices.
  • Assist in executing the Compliance Conduct program, with specific attention, to gifts and hospitality, employment opportunities, charitable contributions, third party vendor reviews, significant business events, whistelblowing cases and conduct investigations.
  • Tracking and logging of Compliance Conduct related cases.
  • Provide Compliance Conduct related training.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What We Look For In You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in ABC, whistleblowing or compliance investigations.
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of FCPA, UK Bribery Act (UKBA), Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) and other equivalent ABC regimes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact comfortably with business partners.
  • Project management skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and implement controls and processes.
  • Ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks.
  • Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge.

Nice-To-Haves

  • Prior experience working in a US multinational or matrix environment.
  • Prior experience working in the crypto industry.
  • CAMS, ICA, or equivalent certification.
