What you'll be doing

  • Support Okteto for our strategic and large prospects
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
  • Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Okteto products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales engineering and support resources
  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts
  • Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to our Product team
  • Generate qualified leads and develop new customers towards the goal of exceeding quota.
  • Travel as necessary to accounts in order to develop relationships and close large opportunities

 

A good fit

  • Knowledge of DevOps and Kubernetes is a must-have for the role!
  • Understand the sales cycle and have shown success in the past
  • Experience in land and expand types of customers
  • Proven capabilities in customer growth strategy and execution across different departments
  • Know how to properly manage large accounts and the respective stakeholders within those accounts to drive sales
  • Effective prioritization of efforts to optimize your pipeline for the most efficient and effective sales efforts.
  • Ability to provide a high degree of major account management and success
  • Experience selling to large organizations
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  • Empathy as a trait to fully understand the customer from their perspective and creativity to use our offerings for building options for success.
  • Be autonomous and accountable in your efforts
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
