About the Job:
 
We are expanding and building a world-class Sales Development team! As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play an integral role in supporting Okera’s growth plans by creating market awareness, identifying prospective customers, qualifying leads and generating new business for the company.  This is a tremendous opportunity to shape the future of data management, security and governance and build a career in new wave of data management technologies.
 
What you get to do on a daily basis:
  • Reporting to the SDR Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of activities, including but not limited to:
  • Following-up and qualifying marketing leads from website visits, demo requests, collateral downloads, marketing driven events and webinars.
  • Nurturing leads as needed and providing robust feedback to the marketing team on campaign effectiveness though systemic use of salesforce CRM.
  • Partnering with the Field Sales Executives to collaboratively approach target account/territory development strategy.
  • Carrying out targeted out-bound email and call campaigns using outreach.io to develop new accounts and opportunities.
  • Effectively communicating Okera's value prop to key audience.
  • Scheduling discovery calls and product demos for the field sales & pre-sales teams.
  • Meeting and exceeding performance benchmarks and metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of SDR experience with a technology provider in a quota driven role.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding expectations in a quota driven role.
  • Skills, knowledge and experience to comfortably engage high level technical and business executives at Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Outreach, G Suite, LinkedIn Navigator, HubSpot.
  • Ability to conceptually understand and explain the Okera solution and value prop.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and high attention to details.
  • Experience in Big Data management and/or Advanced Analytics space.
  • A proven “can do” and “want do” attitude as well as an incredible drive for success in a start-up.
  • Free and independent thinker, who strives in a fast moving and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Desire to develop a career in Big Data enterprise software sales.
