About the Job:
We are expanding our world-class field sales team, which is responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention and expansion. As an Account Executive you are bringing stellar sales experience to an already accomplished sales team. You will lead sales cycles from beginning to end in your territory to close new business, increase the install base of customers and ensure overall customer satisfaction. Our Account Executives are working with some of the largest Fortune 1000 customers helping them solve ground breaking problems in the areas of self service, data management, governance & security. This position reports to the VP of WW Sales.

What you get to do on a daily basis at Okera:
  • Own target accounts in your territory while managing all aspects of a complex sales cycle
  • Focus on meeting/exceeding quarterly and annual sales quota on a consistent basis
  • Identify customer’s business drivers and align them with the technical benefits of the Okera software solution 
  • Work closely with the SE to facilitate successful execution of POCs in the sales cycle
  • Map the customer’s decision makers, buyers, champions and develop strategies for each to improve deal confidence
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline (4-5X of qualified opportunities) 
  • Maintain leads, contacts and opportunities in Salesforce.com
Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years’ direct enterprise software sales experience
  • Pure hunter mentality with an established track record of introducing new products to market, building pipeline and closing business
  • Experience in data management, big data & analytics, data governance and security
  • Knowledge of business drivers and technology challenges faced by customers in verticals local to your territory ex. financial services, healthcare, pharma, retail & manufacturing.
  • Ability to leverage partners during sales cycles.
  • Comfortable engaging with both C-level / LOB executives and technical architects
  • Both large company and high growth startup software experience.
  • Team-oriented and flexible in approach so that we can be successful collectively
  • Superb communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
