About the Opportunity:

The IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in order to ensure the smooth running of the business daily activities by ensuring minimal disruption to the IT assets and devices in the offices as well as ensuring employees' IT inquiries are properly addressed and resolve.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the company's laptops (Windows, macOS), desktop computers, mobile devices (iOS&Android), IP phones, and other desktops IT equipment.
  2. Responsible for the initial installation of the company's laptop computers (Windows, macOS), software and hardware installation, debugging, updating, maintenance, fault handling, etc.
  3. Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of all office IT-related systems, such as office IP telephone system, video conference system, wireless projection system, CCTV, access control system, printer, etc.
  4. Responsible for daily inspection and testing of the office WiFi network, wired network, VPN network, and handling various office network problems.
  5. Assist the network engineer in the operation of the server room, cabling, UPS system, and be responsible for the regular maintenance and IT inspection of the server room.
  6. Responsible for the implementation of the strategy, technical standards, specifications, and technical solutions designed by the Global IT team.
  7. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external service providers for equipment procurement, installation, and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, computer science, networking, engineering, and other related majors are preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of working experience in IT support, with working experience in large IT companies preferred.
  3. Possesses operation and maintenance experience in Windows, macOS, WiFi network, VPN network, smart office systems, etc.
  4. Ability to commit to flexible working hours inclusive unofficial hours such as evening hours to support both onsite and remote employees.
