About the Team:
The Risk & Compliance function at OKCoin is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We’re a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk. We’re also deeply committed to moving the needle on risk and compliance standards for the crypto industry, building products in a compliant way, and protecting the company from financial, regulatory and reputational risks. Our team consists of seasoned risk and compliance professionals who are based across our global offices.
Paid summer internship at OKCoin is a hands-on, learning experience. We are seeking Rising Seniors (December 2021-June 2022 graduates) for an 11-week or more virtual/remote internship program.
OKCoinis seeking an Intern to work in a compliance vertical. Intern will actively participate as a team member of select business unit(s), mirroring the position of a full-time employee in that unit. Responsibilities will include specific assignments and/or projects that will contribute to a practical, experiential learning environment in an assigned area of our business.
Actively participate in day-to-day business activities of an assigned business unit.
Contribute to one or more business unit initiative(s).
Support KYC team, Review OFAC, Sanctions, PEPS or adverse media alerts that are escalated from the Customer Support team to determine validity
Participate in compliance vendor evaluation process and business reviews
Respond to customer inquiries that have been raised to the Compliance team through customer support system
Balance numerous projects and priorities
Other duties and responsibilities as required
