About the Role

We're looking for a Principal Medical Writer with a passion for publications to join us!

This is an amazing opportunity to join the Ogilvy publications team and help our clients to publish their emerging data for two soon-to-be-launched medicines for rare diseases. We are at an exciting, dynamic time in the development of these two candidate drugs - both of which promise to bring life-changing benefits to patients who currently have few options and little hope of clinical improvement. Here at Ogilvy, we understand the trust and responsibility placed in us by our clients/authors - to help them to craft these foundational publications that will underpin all of their communications - and we constantly look to improve what we do. If you share our passion, apply today.

Our publications team work closely with our Brain Sciences Centre of Excellence to apply 'Data Comprehension Design' (DCODE) and utilise cognitive neuroscience principles to improve accessibility and understanding of key data within our clients' publications - ultimately to enable physicians and patients to take better informed decisions.

With your passion for storytelling and scientific accuracy, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging medical publications and materials that resonate with the target audience.

This account is home to around 16 colleagues so you will receive lots of support, especially upon stepping into the role but beyond this too. You'll have the chance to develop and mentor more junior writers and eventually, the opportunity to lead a workstream.

We work on a hybrid basis, with 2 days in the office and 3 from home (or wherever you work best) and we're happy to speak to candidates who can comfortably travel to our London, Oxford or Manchester offices
