About the Job

As the Account Executive for the US Federal Department of Defense and Intelligence Agencies (DoD/IC), you will be responsible for developing and executing a territory plan to successfully drive sales of OffSec’s market-leading, continuous cybersecurity training platform within a defined territory.  This territory may also include named Federal Systems Integrators (FSI’s) that serve this customer base.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be responsible for quota attainment within the assigned territory by:

  • Demonstrating effective account management and planning skills
  • Understanding customer requirements and proposing solutions to key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Intimate understanding of the US Federal Government’s Contracting/Procurement processes, including various Contract Vehicles, BPA’s, BOA’s, etc…
  • Generation of quotes and ability to support formal proposals
  • Ability to provide a Demo of the OffSec training platform
  • Accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Follow up on MQLs promptly and be able to generate leads/prospects (including developing sales campaigns with OffSec Marketing and channel partners).
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and how OffSec competes/positions 
  • Open to Traveling when required and justified by opportunity or by event
  • Ability to work with OffSec Distribution and Channel partners  

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of Experience selling into the U.S. Federal Government DoD/IC Community
  • Proven Results
    • Documented success in similar roles, demonstrating the ability to drive sales and grow market share.
    • Sense of Urgency 
  • Sales Experience
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Experience in managing long sales cycles and complex deals.
  • Account Management
    • Experience in managing large accounts and maintaining long-term relationships.
    • Skills in upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Educational Background
    • A background in education, business, or related fields can be advantageous.
    • Advanced degrees or specialized training related to education or sales may be beneficial.
  • Networking Experience
    • Established connections within the DoD/IC sector, including relationships with key influencers and decision-makers.
    • Demonstrated ability to leverage relationships with resellers and distributor partners
  • Background selling through/to FSI’s, Primes/Subs, within the DoD/IC community is a plus
  • Background or experience selling Cybersecurity training or related products is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with DoD 8570/8140, PCTE, U.S. Cyber Command, and DCWF is a plus.

This role is a full-time salaried position. Work hours for this position are flexible and will be performed from a home office.
