About the Job

Offensive Security is looking for a talented Salesforce Technical Team Lead to design a world-class Salesforce environment for our evolving SaaS business. We are looking for a professional who has a good understanding of Salesforce from both a developer and an administrator perspective, someone who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. A Salesforce Technical Team Lead should be comfortable with designing a technical solution based on business needs, as well as provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to their team members. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected customized solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products that the team can consume.
  • Apply best practices and technical/business experience to Salesforce solutions, including design trade-offs and communication of design decisions
  • Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems as part of a complete software product lifecycle
  • Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
  • Design, code and implement API-based integrations with our home-grown LMS platform.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide mentorship on how to best implement newly-requested Salesforce features, in a way that harmonizes with the already-existing architecture of the system.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching with each of the team members.
  • Write and submit yearly Performance Evaluations for each of the team members.
  • Organize “Brown Bag” Session, training the team on different topics
  • Ability to peer-review both admin and development tasks. 

Qualifications

  • Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Flow, Platform Events, External Objects), integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud including CPQ, Einstein Activity Capture, PRM, and custom and big objects
  • Minimum of 4 years administering SaaS subscription businesses that leverage CPQ.
  • Extensive development experience using SoQL, Apex, Batch Apex, Aura, LWC and VisualForce.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code, Git Repository and CI/CD development
  • Experience building integrations with Salesforce and 3rd-party APIs with the Salesforce platform. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce REST API, and BULK API 2.0
  • Experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills - must be able to deliver workshops and strategize at a C level

Working conditions

This role is a full-time salaried position. Work hours for this position are flexible and will be performed from a home office.

Direct reports

This position has Salesforce Admins and Developers reporting into it.
